Dining Out - Beetle's Bar and Grill

Burgers, sandwiches, wraps and broasted chicken dinners are on the menu at Beetle's Bar and Grill, a new southwest Rochester spot that owner Mike "Beetle" Kothenbeutel describes as an upscale neighborhood sports bar.
Burgers, sandwiches, wraps and broasted chicken dinners are on the menu at Beetle's Bar and Grill, a new southwest Rochester spot that owner Mike "Beetle" Kothenbeutel describes as an upscale neighborhood sports bar.
The first business to open in the new West on Second Marketplace development, Beetle's includes a bar that can be lit to create a waterfall effect and a patio area that includes a water fountain with a gas flame.
Hours
11 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week.
Value
Burgers include the eight-ounce hamburger ($5.95), the blue cheese burger ($6.50) and a thick-cut bacon and cheese burger ($6.95). Sandwiches include hot ham and cheese ($6.25), the walleye sandwich ($7.25) and the six-ounce ribeye ($8.95). Wraps cost $6.25 and include southwest turkey and beef fajita. Dinners include choice of potato, cole slaw or cup of soup and range in price from the two-piece broasted chicken dinner ($4.50) to the ribeye dinner ($14.95).
